Hi, I’m Lory, the founder of LBH!

Moving abroad taught me how exciting - and sometimes challenging - it can be to start somewhere new. You arrive with curiosity and excitement, but often don’t know where to go, who to meet or how to truly feel part of the place.

I’ve experienced how much one genuine connection can change the way you experience a new place - someone who welcomes you, shares their favourite spots, introduces you to others or simply makes you feel less like a stranger.

This is the story behind Local Buddies Hub - a community where locals can share the places and experiences they love, while newcomers and internationals can discover the city through the people who know it best.
